The Chain Block 1 Ton operates by using a manual chain and sprocket mechanism. When raising a heavy load, the manual chain and hand sprocket are rotated clockwise, lifting the load. To lower the load, the hand zipper chain is pulled counterclockwise, separating the brake seat from the brake pad. The ratchet stays fixed due to the pawl, which, powered by the five-tooth long shaft, causes the hoisting sprocket to move in the opposite direction, allowing the load to descend smoothly.

These chain hoists typically employ ratchet friction disc type one-way brakes that self-engage under load. Springs ensure the pawls mesh with the ratchets, enhancing safe braking. Combining a reverse backstop brake reducer and a chain pulley block, this equipment features a symmetrically arranged secondary spur gear rotation structure that ensures simplicity, durability, and efficiency.

Operating the Chain Block 1 Ton involves pulling the manual chain and hand sprocket, engaging the friction plate ratchet and brake seat for rotation. This action results in the rotation of the tooth long shaft, plate gear, tooth short shaft, and spline hole gear. Consequently, the hoisting sprocket mounted on the spline hole gear drives the hoisting chain, allowing for stable lifting of heavy objects.

To ensure safety during operation, the Chain Block 1 Ton utilizes a ratchet friction disc type one-way brake. This braking mechanism functions automatically under load, with the pawl meshing with the ratchet due to spring action, ensuring secure and safe braking.
