Brake failure of hand chain hoist during use is very dangerous. 1. The friction plate of hand chain hoist is seriously worn. When the friction plate of hand chain hoist is seriously worn, it will cause brake failure. Therefore, the friction plate of hand chain hoist should be checked frequently to keep the surface of friction plate intact and tidy.

2. The brake failure caused by deformation, broken teeth or loose pawl spring of the brake component guide wheel inside the hand chain hoist. The operator needs to replace the damaged parts and continue to use it after the inspection is correct.

3. When the surface of the friction plate of hand chain hoist is stained with water or grease, the friction force on the surface of the friction plate will be reduced, and the braking ability will be weakened accordingly, resulting in brake failure. In this case, just wipe off the grease on the friction plate.

4. Rust on the chain hoist will also cause brake failure, and severely rusted parts need to be replaced. When regularly maintaining the chain hoist, apply appropriate lubricating oil to ensure that the chain hoist operates well, and apply anti-rust oil to prevent rust. This will make the chain hoist work longer.
